Privacy Policy

Last updated August 7, 2026

This policy explains what information this website collects, how Assres CPA uses it, and the choices you have. It is written to be read, not skimmed past: it’s short.

What we collect

What you send us. If you use the intake form, we receive what you type: your name, email, phone and state, and the situation details you choose to share. The form is deliberately designed to avoid sensitive identifiers: please do not enter Social Security numbers, EINs, account numbers, or dollar-level financial detail there. If you email us or book a consultation, we receive what you send and the booking details.

Collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, device type, approximate location derived from your IP address). Our hosting provider (Netlify) keeps standard server logs for security and reliability. The intake form’s spam protection briefly processes your connection address and stores only a non-reversible fingerprint of it for about ten minutes.

Services you choose to use. Scheduling runs on TidyCal and secure document exchange runs on Encyro. When you use them, their own privacy terms also apply.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, evaluate whether the firm is a good fit, and prepare for a consultation. Intake submissions are routed to the CPA for review and are stored in the firm’s business systems. We also use aggregate analytics to run and improve the site.

Marketing email is sent only if you check the optional box on the intake form, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe. Leaving the box unchecked never affects how we handle your inquiry.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal information, and we do not run third-party advertising networks on this site. Information is shared only with the service providers that operate the site and the firm’s systems: Netlify, Google (Workspace and Analytics), TidyCal, and Encyro, or where the law requires it.

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common industry standard for how to interpret it, and this site does not currently respond to it differently. We do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites from this site.

Client tax information

Once you engage the firm, your tax information is protected by rules much stronger than this policy: federal law (IRC §7216) restricts how tax return information may be used or disclosed, and CPA confidentiality obligations apply. Your engagement letter governs that relationship. Client documents move through the secure Encyro portal, never through this website or ordinary email.

Retention and your choices

Inquiry records are kept as ordinary business records. You can ask what we hold about your inquiry, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (unless a legal or professional obligation requires keeping it) by emailing moses@assrescpa.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time via the link in any message.

Children

This site is a professional-services site for adults and is not directed to children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date. Your use of the site is also subject to the Terms of Engagement.
